Usually when people say “God sees everything”, it’s in the context of God seeing all the bad stuff you do behind closed doors when you think no one else is looking. This thought often strikes fear into the hearts of whoever might hear it. We’ve done some pretty awful things that we wish no one would ever know about.

As far as I know, God does see everything. And that’s only a bad thing if you don’t understand how He responds. 

For one, I’m glad He sees it all and it doesn’t change His mind about saving us. About loving us. I’m glad He can see past our failures. But that’s just the starting point. I’m glad that God can see the way we were created to be. That He sees our potential. Our value. How we look dressed in His glory and righteousness. That He does everything in His power to enable us to live up to this incredible potential!

God sees everything, and that’s good!
